Hilton Head, S.C. -- The women's tennis team (11-3) snapped a three-game losing streak with a 7-2 win over Dickinson Tuesday.
Three Bombers were double winners: freshman
Agata Kubik (K. Norwid General Lyceum/Czestochowa, Poland) and junior Alysa Jaffe
(Pascack Hills/Montvale, N.J.) teamed to win a first doubles match and posted wins at second and third singles, respectively; and freshman
Melissa Nunez (Morris Hills/Rockaway, N.J.) won in straight sets at sixth singles and teamed with freshman
Melanie Cohen (Hatboro-Horsham/Ambler, Pa.) for a second doubles victory.
Ithaca's other winners were
Sarah Hollis (Green Farms Academy/Fairfield, Conn.) at fourth singles and junior
Lindsey Johnston (Woodstock Academy/Pomfret Center, Conn.) at fifth singles.
The Bombers return to action Wednesday, facing Division II Bryant in a 9 a.m. match.
